FAQ - Cessation of Custodial Services

Q: What is happening and why is the app asking me to transfer my assets?
A: We have ceased our Custodial Wallet services. Because of this closure, we ask you to transfer your balances as soon as possible.

Q: Are my money and crypto safe?
A: Yes, 100%. All your assets (both cryptocurrency and EUR) are secure. You simply need to choose where to move them as soon as possible, preferably before June 30, 2026.

Q: What do I need to do?
A: You have two options:
Option A: Transfer your assets to the Self-Custodial Wallet directly in the app. It takes just a few clicks and we cover all network fees.
Option B: Withdraw your cryptocurrency to any external wallet or exchange, and your EUR balance to your personal bank account.

Q: What happens to my EUR balance? Can I transfer it to the new wallet?
A: The Self-Custodial Wallet supports only cryptocurrency. EUR balances cannot be migrated. You have two options:

  1. Withdraw your EUR directly to your personal bank account via SEPA.

  2. Exchange your EUR for cryptocurrency and then transfer it to the Self-Custodial Wallet.

Q: What happens if I do nothing? Will my funds be lost?
A: Your funds will never be lost. After June 30, we will send an additional notification to remaining users. You will be given a choice to actively opt-in to securely migrate your assets to a regulated partner EU CASP. Alternatively, we may consider storing your funds securely under the civil law framework of “Creditor’s Delay.” You will still be able to retrieve them via the app, though additional KYC re-verification may be required.
