Q: Is the Simple App closing down?
A: Not at all! We are simply upgrading to a 100% Self-Custodial wallet to give you maximum security and total control over your assets. You just need to transfer your crypto to the new wallet directly in the app before June 30.
Q: What is happening and why is the app asking me to transfer my assets?
A: Effective June 30, 2026, 23:59 GMT+3, we are closing our Custodial Wallet service. Because of this closure, we ask you to transfer your balances before that date.
Q: Are my money and crypto safe?
A: Yes, 100%. All your assets (both cryptocurrency and EUR) are secure. You simply need to choose where to move them before June 30, 2026.
Q: What do I need to do before June 30, 2026?
A: You have two options:
Option A: Transfer your assets to the Self-Custodial Wallet directly in the app. It takes just a few clicks and we cover all network fees.
Option B: Withdraw your cryptocurrency to any external wallet or exchange, and your EUR balance to your personal bank account.
Q: When will specific features be turned off?
A: To ensure a smooth closure, features will be disabled in stages:
June 9, 2026: "Buy from card" and "Pay with bank" are turned off.
June 16, 2026: Incoming EUR deposits and Crypto deposits are turned off.
June 30, 2026: "Swap crypto-crypto" and "Exchange EUR - crypto" are turned off, and the custodial service is fully closed.
Q: What happens to my EUR balance? Can I transfer it to the new wallet?
A: The Self-Custodial Wallet supports only cryptocurrency. EUR balances cannot be migrated. You have two options before June 30, 2026:
Withdraw your EUR directly to your personal bank account via SEPA.
Exchange your EUR for cryptocurrency and then transfer it to the Self-Custodial Wallet.
Q: What happens if I do nothing before June 30? Will my funds be lost?
A: Your funds will remain safe. However, after June 30, we will send you an additional notification with further steps. You may be given a choice to explicitly opt-in to transfer your account to a fully regulated EU CASP. Otherwise, your account will fall under a legal state of "Creditor's delay" under Bulgarian law. While you will still be able to withdraw via the app interface (subject to new KYC checks), a regulatory account maintenance fee will be applied on a pro-rata basis to cover actual custodial costs.
