CESSATION OF CUSTODIAL SERVICES
Stored Assets Ltd hereby formally announces the permanent cessation of all custodial wallet services on June 30, 2026, at 23:59 GMT+3. This mandatory operational closure complies with the expiration of the transitional periods under the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) Regulation.
Your assets are entirely secure, fully backed, and ready for immediate withdrawal. However, strict legal deadlines require your direct action before June 30, 2026. After this deadline the application interface will transition to a withdrawal-only mode.
1. Your Withdrawal Options
"Transfer to Self-Custody (Zero Fees)": Transfer your assets to a self-hosted wallet environment. We will fully sponsor and absorb the blockchain network transaction fees for this option.
"Withdraw Externally": You retain the absolute right to direct your crypto to any external wallet/exchange, and your EUR to your verified personal bank account. Standard network transaction fees will apply.
2. Strict Compliance Protocols (KYC & Travel Rule)
12-Month KYC Validity: Your identity verification (KYC) profile must be no older than 12 months at the time of your withdrawal. If your profile is outdated, you will be legally mandated to complete a new identity verification process.
Travel Rule Enforcement: All withdrawals are subject to the EU Travel Rule.
3. Consequences of Inaction (Post-June 30)
If you fail to withdraw your assets by the strict June 30, 2026 deadline, we may employ either one of the options:
Transfer to a Regulated EU CASP: You will be given an option to actively opt-in to securely transfer your remaining crypto-assets to a fully regulated European CASP partner.
Creditor's Delay (Mora Creditoris): You will legally enter a state of 'Creditor's Delay' under civil law.
Safe Storage: Your crypto-assets will NOT be sold or converted to fiat currency.
Pro-Rata Maintenance Costs: Pursuant to Article 96 of the Bulgarian Law on Obligations and Contracts, the actual, documented maintenance costs for securing your dormant assets will be deducted proportionally (pro-rata) from total residual balances.
